
Ingredients
- 24 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts thinly sliced against the grain
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Make rice!
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sliced or diced chicken in a single layer.
- Sauté the chicken for 4-5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the honey, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, chili powder, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl, whisking to combine.
- When chicken is no longer pink, add the sauce and increase heat to high. Stir the chicken to coat completely in sauce and allow to simmer and thicken until the chicken is cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Serve hot.
