El Dorado, KS. pronounced “el-də-ray-doh” was another work trip. I went to this city expecting very little and for the most part, that’s what I got. The exception was the Kansas Oil Museum, what a find; this has got to be my favorite small town museum!!! The rest of this city was very small, I found one local restaurant that was unimpressive, Brother;s, and a local chain that was quite impressive, Hog wild. But back to the museum, it features Kansas history from the standpoint of cattle and oil.
Probably as interesting as OKC.
